Project Manager Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead and develop projects at our primary site in Killeshandra. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with an engineering background or industrial engineering experience to drive strategic initiatives and manage capital investments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage projects across various operational areas, including R&D, manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, and relevant services.
* Oversee the preparation and management of annual capital budget processes.
* Manage project expenditures versus budget during execution.
* Guide projects through the capital approval journey, defining scope, costs, payback, environmental impacts, and ensuring stakeholder support.
* Collaborate with site management teams to identify, develop, and execute projects that deliver improved operational efficiencies and cost reductions.
* Manage resources, including internal staff, suppliers, consultants, contractors, regulators, and grant bodies, to deliver successful project outcomes.
* Provide technical support and advice to Site Operational Management to maintain and improve quality, efficiency, and capability.
* Maintain up-to-date site project documentation and drawings.
* Stay abreast of new technology, equipment, and processes relevant to the site.
* Pursue continuous learning and development to enhance personal performance.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and relevant legislation.
Experience Required:
* Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Proven experience in project management, preferably within the Engineering, Food or Manufacturing industry.
* Demonstrated experience managing capital projects and budgets.
* Experience in overseeing projects from scoping and specification to installation, commissioning, and handover.
* Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
* Proficiency in budgeting, cost management, and financial analysis.
* Familiarity with regulatory compliance and safety standards.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
