We are seeking an experienced Anti-Money Laundering (AML) professional to join our team in a leadership role. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to enhance their career while working with a reputable organization.
As AML Manager, you will be responsible for assisting clients with establishing effective governance, risk, and control environments. This involves evaluating controls, business and technology alignment, regulatory requirements, risk processes, metrics, and reporting, as well as risk frameworks related to AML/CFT requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
* Assisting clients in aligning their organizations' operating infrastructures with their strategies
* Redesigning business, risk, and control processes, and refining AML operating models
* Assessing the effectiveness of AML/CFT frameworks, policies, processes, procedures, systems, and controls
* Evaluating the lineage of policies, process, IT, and data to support customer risk management and transaction monitoring
You will also be responsible for managing and assessing the impact of operational implementation of technology and policy changes, driving continuous improvements to quality of data and client service levels.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong experience and understanding of Governance Risk and Compliance, AML/CTF, sanctions programs, and risks & controls within financial crime. You should have excellent team leading, interpersonal, and communication skills, as well as previous experience/training in professional services.
The ideal candidate will have a degree and a professional qualification in governance risk and compliance, and a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience with at least 2+ at management level. An AML/Financial Crime qualification is preferred, such as ACAMs.
