We are seeking a highly skilled General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Athona Ltd. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to work in a cutting-edge facility based in Dublin.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in General Adult Psychiatry, preferably with experience in Neuropsychiatry. They will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working closely with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to the development of clinical services.
Key Responsibilities:
* To provide specialist psychiatric services to adult patients.
* To lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals, promoting excellent patient care and outcomes.
* To participate in the development and implementation of clinical services, ensuring they are aligned with national guidelines and best practices.
* To contribute to the education and training of medical students, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
* To maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements:
* Fully registered in the Specialist Register (Psychiatrist) of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland or entitled to be so registered.
* Experience in General Adult Psychiatry, preferably with a sub-specialised interest in either Psychiatry of Later Life or Neuropsychiatry.
* Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Able to deliver core contracted hours and undertake on-call duties as part of a rota.
