Scorebuddy is a leading Quality Management SaaS platform for Contact Centres.By combining quality management, coaching and learning with advanced AI Analytics, we help hundreds of customers worldwide to be operationally efficient, scale their contact centres, improve agent performance, and enhance overall customer experience.We are hiring Infrastructure Engineers to work closely with internal teams to ensure our core IT and infrastructure services are reliable, secure, and efficiently operated across both Linux and Windows environments.Your role involves supporting, maintaining, and improving AWS and server infrastructure, troubleshooting operational issues, and ensuring the availability, performance, and security of the systems that underpin day to day business operations. This role involves being available to participate in an on-call rota that may require you to remain within timely access to your work environment.This is a hybrid role with 2 days a week in office, we work exclusively with engineers in small, lean, and self-organized teams.Job requirementsNeed to be in the Dublin office 2 days per week and be available to participate on an on-call rota with other team members.Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.Linux Administration: You have experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Linux servers in an enterprise or professional environment.Windows Administration: You have experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting. Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, and related services.Experience in using Public Clouds: You have experience running production workloads on scale in at least one major public cloud, preferably AWS.Identity and Access Management: You understand user, group, and permission management across Linux and Windows systems, including best practices for least-privilege access.Networking Fundamentals: You have working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, firewalls, VPNs, and common connectivity troubleshooting.Automation and Scripting: You can automate routine administration tasks using tools such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible, or similar scripting/automation technologies.Monitoring and Incident Response: You know how to monitor systems, investigate alerts, diagnose root causes, and implement fixes to prevent recurrence.Backup and Recovery: You understand backup strategies, restore testing, and disaster recovery concepts for both servers and critical services.Security Awareness: You follow security best practices, including patching, vulnerability management, hardening, and log review.Problem Solving: You are self-learning and can solve problems with a solution-oriented approach.Communication: You are able to communicate effectively to your team in English in a clear and concise manner.Job responsibilitiesAdminister Linux and Windows infrastructure: Install, configure, maintain, and support server systems across both operating environments.Monitor system health and availability: Use monitoring and observability tools to identify issues, respond to alerts, and maintain service stability.Troubleshoot incidents and outages: Investigate system, application, network, and authentication issues; apply fixes and document root causes.Manage user access and system permissions: Maintain accounts, groups, privileges, and access controls in line with security and operational requirements.Perform patching and system maintenance: Coordinate updates, patches, and routine maintenance to keep systems secure and up to date.Automate administrative tasks: Build scripts, scheduled jobs, or automation workflows to reduce manual work and improve consistency.Support backups and recovery: Ensure systems and data are backed up appropriately and that recovery procedures are tested.Maintain documentation: Create and update clear operational documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.Collaborate with internal teams: Work with service owners, developers, and support teams to resolve issues and improve service delivery.Improve system reliability and security: Continuously identify opportunities to harden, optimize, and standardize the environment.What’s expected when you’re On-Call?Be available to accept a phone call from designated on-call team members or escalation managerBe within network coverage (Wired, Wifi, Mobile) to support connecting via VPN within 30 minutes of accepting a call and being requested to participate in an on-going incidentAt least twice per rotation, review recent alarms and errors, reporting into the designated on-call Slack channelPerform a hand-off to the next person in the scheduled rotation using the designated on-call Slack channelCompetitive salary & bonus based on experience25 paid holidays annuallyWebdoctor online GP service accessTaxsaver tickets & Cycle to Work schemesEnhanced maternity, paternity and sick leave payAccess to Irish Life PRSA, salary sacrifice
