Clinical Nurse Manager 3 Maternity Leave Contract
This is a full-time post with a specified purpose contract lasting up to one year. As the residential clinical nurse manager 3, you will be responsible for managing a person-centred, dynamic and challenging 24/7 residential service that prioritises the well-being and dignity of individuals with intellectual disabilities.
The successful candidate will provide effective management support to our team of residential supervisors/CNM, promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation and quality in the delivery of care services.
* Be on the current register of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
* Have at least three years' experience in working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, preferably RNID trained.
* Hold excellent knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, including Health Act Regulations, HIQA Standards, New Directions, and all other pertinent laws.
* Demonstrate experience in supporting individuals with intellectual disability using a person-centred approach, promoting their autonomy, choice and participation in daily life activities.
* Show evidence of working with adults with intellectual disabilities who have dementia and end-of-life care needs, providing compassionate and holistic support.
The ideal candidate will possess good leadership qualities, including excellent communication, interpersonal skills, change management and auditing skills, as well as a flexible working approach that responds to the changing needs of the service and its users.
