Medical Manpower Manager Dublin 15 Perm Position The Medical Manpower Manager is a pivotal role within the management structure for a client based in Dublin 15, responsible for overseeing and coordinating key functions related to the management of medical staff.
The successful candidate will serve as the operational lead for staff recruitment across all departments and will play a central role in developing and implementing the workforce plan in collaboration with the Senior Management Team and Directors.
The position of Grade VII Medical Manpower Manager will contribute to the strategic and operational development of medical manpower services which include the following: Lead the implementation of best human resource practices across the resourcing function, with a strong focus on process improvement and the introduction of automated solutions.
Contribute to the strategic development of the organisation, particularly by leading and overseeing the planning and recruitment processes for key workforce areas.
Develop, maintain, and monitor recruitment policies, protocols, and procedures that are cost-effective, efficient, and aligned with organisational needs.
Coordinate and manage the process for the submission and approval of applications related to senior appointments, ensuring compliance with relevant governance requirements.
Prepare and coordinate workforce and resourcing plans in collaboration with key stakeholders, in line with organisational policies on recruitment, selection, and deployment, ensuring optimal skill mix and efficient use of resources.
Support the General Manager and Senior Management Team in developing workforce plans, including initiatives for staff retention, succession planning, and the creation of new roles as required.
Establish and maintain monitoring and control systems to ensure that the organisation meets all statutory and contractual obligations regarding staffing and personnel records.
Design and oversee induction programmes for new employees and ensure the effective delivery of these programmes across the organisation.
Ensure that training and professional development needs are identified and addressed through ongoing learning initiatives.
Build and maintain relationships with external training bodies and educational institutions to support the continued development of staff and enhance organisational performance.
Oversee the management of employment contracts and ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation.
Prepare and present reports on workforce activity and performance as required by the General Manager or designated senior leaders.
Represent the organisation at external meetings and forums as required.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective planning and compliance with working time legislation, proactively leading initiatives to maintain adherence to relevant standards.
