We are look for someone who can build supplier relationships and understands warehouse space utilization.Key ResponsibilitiesManagement of product categoriesEnsuring continuous supply and optimum levels of inventoryReviewing minimum stock holdings against average sales analysisManaging and reducing excess inventory levelsManage & improve warehouse space utilizationWorking to agreed time scales and deadlines Developing and maintaining relationships with vendorsParticipation in cost reduction activitiesDelivering both high quality and cost-effective solutionsManaging vendor performance and ensuring alignment with inhouse quality systemsDepartmental administration dutiesAnalyse and resolve purchasing issues and discrepanciesUnderstanding of logistics within the companySkills & Experience 1-2 years planning/procurement experienceDegree in Supply Chain, Operations Management or Finance is preferableStrong organisational and administration skills Excellent negotiation skillsGood computer skills (MS Office), SAP or other ERP system experience highly desirableFlexible and pro-active attitude with a desire for excellenceAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced distribution environmentExcellent attention to detail
