Culinary Assistant Role Overview:
This position requires a team-oriented individual who can maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, including washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, pots, and pans.
* Keep kitchen areas clean and tidy, including floors, surfaces, and equipment.
* Dispose of waste and recyclables properly and in accordance with health & safety standards.
* Assist with unloading and storing food and equipment deliveries.
* Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and notify supervisors when running low.
* Support chefs and other kitchen staff during busy periods.
Requirements:
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* High standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
* Flexible with hours.
