Food Surplus Management provides a nationwide commercial food waste collection service. All collected food waste is transported back to our facility in Trim for further processing.Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, General Operatives onsite are responsible for the following duties:Strictly following all standard operating procedures and health & safety requirements at all times while onsite.Ensuring the efficient unloading, tipping, washing, and reloading of containers into trucks in a safe and timely manner.Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness throughout the factory and yard areas.Ensuring all containers meet required customer standards, including proper sanitation and the segregation of damaged containers where necessary.Carrying out any other duties deemed appropriate, necessary, required, or directed by plant management to support site operations.Positions are available for the following shifts:Morning Shift: 6:00am to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday, including 2 × 15-minute breaks and 1 × 30-minute unpaid break.Afternoon Shift: 1:00pm to 10:00pm, Monday to Friday, including 2 × 15-minute breaks and 1 × 30-minute unpaid break.There are also opportunities for Saturday daytime work and Public Holiday overtime, depending on operational requirements.
