They are looking to attract a Business Development Manager for the Galway region. The company operates from 18 branches nationwide and has a turnover of over €155m. The group includes specialist divisions such as Heating, Plumbing, Insulation, Paving and Decking, enhancing their product offering and expertise.
Responsibilities
* Identifying new business opportunities, fostering long-term relationships with customers and suppliers
* Drive sustainable financial growth by boosting sales and forging strong partnerships with other businesses
* Manage existing key account customers
* Develop and maintain business relationships with new customers
* Increase client base by identifying and exploring potential new clients
* Identify business strengths and customer needs
* Work closely with the existing branch team to provide best-in-class customer service
* Work to agreed deadlines and targets
* Diligently log, track and maintain outbound activity in CRM system
Qualifications
* A well-developed and proven sales ability
* A minimum of 2 years relevant industry experience
* Broad product knowledge of building materials
* Exceptional negotiation and leadership skills
* The ability to build rapport and articulate business propositions effectively
* Strong business acumen
* Proficiency in analysing market trends and client needs to identify opportunities
* Highly motivated with an ability to work independently
