Enterprise Jira Specialist
An Enterprise Jira Specialist will be part of a global team responsible for managing and configuring cloud-based Jira instances at enterprise scale.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Create, configure and manage projects via standardized templates and schemes to optimize workflow efficiency.
2. Customize and maintain all aspects of Jira administration including custom fields, screen layouts, issue types, etc. to ensure seamless functionality.
3. Set up and manage permission schemes, roles, groups, etc. to enhance user experience and productivity.
4. Configure workflow rules, automation, including using tools like ScriptRunner to enhance default Jira functionality and improve efficiency.
5. Design, configure dashboard and build custom reports to support agile teams and leadership needs with actionable insights.
6. Integrate with engineering and product management by identifying tools via plug-ins/add-ons from the marketplace to enhance and streamline SDLC processes.
7. Provide application support for Jira and Confluence for entire organization, ensuring optimal performance and user adoption.
8. Generate and maintain documentation and training collateral for all users, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
9. Support various aspects of licensing, billing, renewals, etc. to minimize operational disruptions.
The ideal candidate will have experience configuring other Atlassian products, marketplace addons, and external integrations. Familiarity with Agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, and collaboration with teams practicing Agile is also required.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics or other technical course of study is required.
* Master's degree strongly preferred.
* Minimum 3 years' experience configuring and administering cloud Jira instances at enterprise scale.
