Demand Planner - Classic Drinks

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Demand Planner–Classic Drinks, a role which will play a key part in the overall growth of the organisation while helping to maintain our core ethos of keeping the customer at the heart of everything we do.
The Demand Planner will play a key role ensuring accurate ordering and availability of vital stock to support the sales team.
The role requires a candidate who will be:

Key Accountabilities
Ensure accurate ordering of product to support sales
Forecast to reduce excess stock holding while maximising availability
Ensure that all product support documentation is received to support delivery
Improve profitability within the department on excess stock and dumping
Work with suppliers to ensure that product supply is effective
Assist in ensuring the Replenishment Department meets and exceeds the targets set for it
Maintain a good relationship with all suppliers
Liaise with the Replenishment Manager on orders for promotions and forward buys
Interpret sales reports and data to minimise markdowns and overstocks, and dump
Follow SOPs to maintain price file accurately for all products, ensuring the ERP system (AX) is maintained accurately as regards trade agreements, freight charges, earned income, and market cost
Manage stock to ensure statuses and purchase and sell flags are correct
Produce requested analysis and reports to communicate to the business
Requirements
Excellent PC skills and systems knowledge
Excel and knowledge of AX and MRP advantageous – training will be provided
Strong numerical and analytical skills required
Strong organisational skills and ability to work to tight deadlines
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Flexible, innovative, and creative approach to all issues and areas of the business
The ability to analyse and resolve problems effectively and efficiently
Excellent team player and willing to interact with both customers and suppliers
Willingness to work weekends, bank holidays and outside core office hours
