We recently launched our new Corporate Services Group, hiring an established senior team to lead this new offering to our clients in the financial services industry. Working closely with our existing finance, capital markets and aircraft leasing legal, tax and listings teams, our new Corporate Services Group provides expert director and corporate services to a wide range of structured finance, investment vehicles and aircraft leasing transactions. The group has deep experience with the full spectrum of asset classes that typically utilise the Irish Section 110 special purpose vehicle (SPV) structure.
The team is managed by a senior team of chartered accountants, chartered company secretaries, chartered directors and chartered tax consultants. This is an excellent opportunity for a part qualified accountant to work in close collaboration with the new leadership team as we build this business and ensure the provision of premium quality corporate services to our clients.Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a Part Qualified Accountant to join the new Corporate Services Group based in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity to join our fast-paced and professional team delivering top-tier services directly to clients. We are looking for someone who is ready to contribute to a growing organisation known for its commitment to employee development and long-term career advancement. The successful candidate will be part of an expanding accounting team working under the direction of a qualified accountant.Preparation and recording of accounting entries for various Irish SPVs in line with the transaction documents and ensuring statutory deadlines are met. Assisting with the onboarding and set up of new clients on the accounting system.Completion of bank reconciliation and related journal entries.Support senior accountants in preparing annual financial statements under IFRS or local GAAP.Assist with audit preparation, respond to audit questions, and help ensure pre agreed audit timelines are met.Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts for a portfolio of SPVs.Communicate with banks, auditors, and other third parties to manage the audit confirmation process.Assist in the preparation of corporation tax and VAT returns.Assist with filing quarterly regulatory reports on a timely basis.Active involvement in accounting team process improvement and contributing to a positive team environment.Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseEssential - Part qualified ACCA/CPA accountant who is in the process of obtaining an accounting qualification and has a clear intention of doing so within the next 3 years.A good understanding of basic accounting debits & credits, with experience at posting entries to an accounting general ledger.The ideal candidate would have no less than 1 year experience in a relevant accounting trainee role with a recognised accounting firm or financial services company.Proficiency in using MS Office suite of applications with advanced Excel skills is an essential requirement.The successful candidate will be able to think on their feet, show attention to detail and resourcefulness, and have strong communication and organisational skills.They should be capable of working on their own initiative but also work well in a team.
