Purpose of the Role
The Tax Senior role in our office based on Mespil Road, is designed to support the delivery of high-quality tax services to a diverse portfolio of clients. In this position, you will play a key role in assisting with tax compliance, planning, and advisory work while working closely with both clients and the wider team. You will have the opportunity to develop your technical skills, contribute to the smooth running of tax engagements, and build strong client relationships within a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities will include:
• Manage and support the preparation and review of tax compliance work for a diverse range of clients.
• Assist in the preparation of tax planning advice for both corporate and individual clients, ensuring all solutions comply with current tax legislation.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members, helping them develop their tax knowledge and skills.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering proactive advice on tax matters and addressing client queries.
• Assist with various tax affairs, liaising with Revenue and other relevant authorities where necessary.
• Keep up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring the firm's services are in compliance and up to industry standards.
• Participate in the preparation of proposals and business development activities to attract new clients.
• Support senior team members with special projects and ad-hoc tax-related tasks. Manage and track the progress of multiple engagements, ensuring deadlines are met and work is delivered to a high standard.
Qualifications & Key Competencies
• CTA qualification essential. ACA qualification an advantage.
• Experience in a similar practise environment preferred

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• An effective and motivated team player
• A proven ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
