Senior Nursing Leadership Role
The Clinical Nurse Manager II position is a senior-level nursing leadership role that plays a crucial part in ensuring the effective management of patient care services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing department, ensuring that all staff members adhere to established policies and procedures.
* Assign and supervise the tasks of floor staff, guaranteeing they are aware of their responsibilities and work effectively as a cohesive team.
* Perform administrative duties outside regular working hours, with prior approval from the Director of Nursing.
* Regularly assess the workload of the floor, evaluating performance, quality, and productivity to ensure enhanced patient care outcomes.
* Maintain open communication channels between departments and disciplines, fostering positive working relationships.
* Prepare reports and returns for medical, nursing, and administrative staff, as necessary.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 5 years post-registration experience as a Registered General Nurse (RGN).
* Relevant management qualifications or experience are essential.
* Excellent interpersonal, leadership, accountability, and communication skills.
* Appropriate clinical and managerial skills, with evidence of ongoing professional development.
