Job Overview
We are seeking a Site Compliance Manager to promote a culture of health, safety and compliance across all construction projects.
About the Role
* You will monitor compliance with Irish H&S legislation and client requirements.
* Conduct site safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies for mitigation.
* Deliver safety training to staff and contractors on industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
* Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Safety Management: Monitor and enforce adherence to health, safety and environmental regulations.
2. Risk Assessment: Conduct regular site visits to identify potential hazards and develop risk assessments to mitigate them.
3. Training Delivery: Provide comprehensive safety training to staff and contractors on relevant legislation, procedures and protocols.
4. Incident Investigation: Investigate all incidents, accidents and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
Requirements
* Degree in Health & Safety or related discipline.
* NEBOSH/IOSH certification or equivalent qualification.
* Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
