Job Title: Quality Control Technician / Erecting Supervisor
Location: Coachford, Cork
Type: Full-time 8am - 4:30pm Mon - Thurs, 8am - 3:30pm Fri

Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a new company. The successful Candidate must have a willingness to learn and be open-minded as to the duties of the role. The candidate will be working closely with both the Design and Manufacturing Teams. Onsite interaction will require a close working relationship with the Erecting Team and the construction site's Head Foreman and Finishing Foreman. Being able to perform in a high paced environment, work from different locations and having an ability to multitask is essential.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Conduct quality inspections of timber frame components during all stages of the manufacturing process
* Verify that materials and products comply with design specifications, technical drawings and industry standards
* Record and report inspection results accurately using QC checklist and internal reporting systems (Document, photograph, etc.)
* Identify, document and communicate non-conformances or defects to production and quality teams.
* Assist with root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
* Maintain calibration of measurements tools and testing equipment
* Support continuous improvement initiatives within the factory (to include providing constructive feedback and training / presentations to the employees)
* Take on an active role with Health & Safety and Environmental regulations within the company
* Other Ad Hoc duties and tasks required
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in Timber Frame or Offsite construction manufacturing
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawing and specifications
* Comfortable using apps or picking up new software quickly
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Attention to detail and ability to identify defects or deviations.
* Competent in the use of measuring instruments (eg tape measures, calipers, moisture meters)
* Full clean drivers license is essential
* Holder of a Safe Pass
Working Conditions:
* Factory-based role with onsite inspections
* Will involve lifting and handling of timber components
* Use of PPE as required
