There are just under 2,000 associates, working across 2 locations (Dublin & Galway), supporting a diverse portfolio of Fidelity business across technology, operations and support functions.
As a Senior Manager of Risk & Compliance, FMR Ireland you will be part of a team who have responsibility and accountability for regional risk and compliance management oversight for the FISC Ireland legal entity.
The role will require you to work collaboratively across an extensive volume of cross functional partners within Risk, Compliance and the business.
You should be an analytical thinker with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities Include: Perform second line oversight and challenge through formal risk and control assessments, control testing and through regular interactions with Fidelity Corporate Support FunctionsSupport other enterprise & governance risk activities as required e.g.
Top-Down Risk Assessment and Bottoms Up Risk AssessmentSupport the oversight of regional compliance with enterprise ethics and compliance policiesLead and manage compliance readiness assessments across Fidelity Corporate Support FunctionsTake the lead in the delivery of comprehensive management information to senior management including the Risk CommitteesWork with support functions to mitigate, manage and monitor risks across the organization.Perform ad-hoc project-based work, including reporting and analyses as the need arises.Partner with many cross functional teams across the globe within Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Corporate Support FunctionsCoach and mentor team membersto enhance their risk management skills and knowledge.The Expertise You Have: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., finance, business administration) essentialHold extensive experience in operational and enterprise risk management within a financial services environmentA demonstrated proficiency in Risk assessment tools, Control Testing Methodologies, Scenario Analysis, Risk Appetite documentation, Risk Reporting to senior management and board, KRIs/KCIs identification, documentation and reportingAn in-depthunderstanding of the regulatory environment with experience of working in regulations/guidance issued by the Central Bank of Ireland and other independent EU authoritiesExceptional communication skills and knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies with the ability to impact and influence decisions across the organization.Proven track record of coaching, mentoring, and empowering others to deliverThe Skills You Bring: Knowledge of risk management principles, methods, techniques, systems, and toolkits.Outstanding relationship management, communication, teamwork, and influencing skills.Future and analytical thinking; accountable for and skilled in exercising good judgment.High degree of integrity and strong work ethic, solution orientated toward arriving at a positive outcome, while protecting Fidelity, its customer, and associates.Proven ability to simultaneously identify, prioritize, and address multiple issues and quickly respond to shifts in priorities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.For more like this search #R&C
