We’re looking for a Digital Production Assistant to help us bring our textbooks and learning content to life across digital platforms — supporting Irish teachers and students in classrooms nationwide.
Role Overview
As Digital Production Assistant, you will play a key role in the preparation, formatting, file management, and quality assurance of digital content. Working closely with our editorial, design, and digital teams, you’ll help produce slide decks, quizzes, videos, and other digital learning assets. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and passionate about education and publishing.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the conversion and formatting of print content for digital platforms
* Upload and manage content in our digital platform
* Support the creation of interactive elements such as quizzes, videos, and animations
* Conduct quality checks and test content
* Liaise with editors, designers and developers to ensure timely delivery of digital products
* Help maintain accurate file naming, metadata, and version control
* Support the development and rollout of digital teacher/student platforms
Desired Skills & Experience
* Strong computer literacy and comfort with digital tools
* Familiarity with eLearning platforms, EPUB, or HTML/CSS (a plus, but not essential)
* Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign and Acrobat)
* Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and manage time across multiple projects
* Interest in education, publishing, and digital innovation
* A relevant qualification (or pending qualification) in Publishing, Digital Media, IT, Digital Humanities, or related field is preferred
