Application Release & Support Engineer – Regulatory Reporting: What You'll Do We are seeking a consultant to support and enhance legal reporting IT solutions for our client's international operations, ensuring smooth software releases, robust infrastructure, and efficient end-to-end reporting processes.
Lead release management activities and provide post go-live support, including drafting release notes and installation guidelines Support deployment teams and assess the impact of new applications or software versions on legal reporting solutions Collaborate with the Testing Team to oversee Quality Assurance activities (HP ALM)Manage and monitor daily reporting jobs and workflows Execute manual operational tasks and progressively implement automation solutions Administer virtual server environments (Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux – RHEL/Ubuntu)Manage and configure authentication protocols (LDAP, SAML)Perform operational tasks on SQL and Oracle databases (script execution, troubleshooting)Monitor infrastructure performance and handle incident detection and remediation Create and maintain operational technical documentation and recovery plans Technical Skills Proven Experience in: Experience in Release Management for critical IT systems Windows & Linux system administration skills Hands-on experience with SQL and Oracle (operational level)Job scheduling and scripting capabilities Analytical mindset and problem-solving approach Ability to handle multiple small projects and interact with stakeholders Fluent in French or English (required); Italian is a plus Ability to produce professional documentation in English Nice to have: knowledge of ITIL framework Where: Luxembourg, on-site presence required Soft Skills & Attitude Analytical thinker able to translate business needs into technical solutions.
