THE ROLE - working closely with the Head of Finance, this person will have the opportunity to work on both financial and management accounting across the business.
DUTIES: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial accounts to US group deadlines Preparation & Review of monthly management accounts, including a detailed commentary around variances.
Support annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to establish financial goals and objectives.
Provide regular financial forecasts and variance analyses to support decision-making.
Preparation and reporting of monthly Management Accounts to US Corporate within strict reporting deadlines Monthly Business Review pack preparation Preparation, upload and reconciliation of monthly Forecast Handling of Annual Statutory Audit and Internal Audit Handling Group Taxation reporting, and control of local VAT and Corporation Tax Manage Corporate approval for Capital Spending and reporting.
REQUIREMENTS: A qualified accountant (practice or industry trained) From recently-qualified, up to 3 yrs PQE Industry experience in a MCN reporting environment desirable Strong commercial acumen with ability to contribute to commercial and strategic decision-making Strong on systems / ERP evaluation and upgrade Skills: Financial Acconting Management Reporting Budgeting and Forecasting Audit Statutory Reporting Benefits: Health Insurance Pension Bonus Hybrid
