Join Analog Devices' Biosensors Group as our Senior Biosensor Product Engineer, where you'll help launch breakthrough biosensor platforms in a state-of-the-art laboratory setting, shaping both products and the environment that supports them.
In this role, you will:
Lead hands-on development and validation of next-generation biosensor products, taking concepts from prototype to market.
Collaborate with world-class R&D, design, and reliability engineering teams to solve complex technical problems and push the boundaries of sensor performance.
Shape the technical direction of our lab infrastructure to enable innovative approaches in biosensor development and testing.
Drive advances in reliability, manufacturability, and regulatory compliance for new medical device technologies.
Your Mission
Develop an in-depth understanding of ADI's biosensor products and their applications.
Support characterization, testing and analysis of new biosensor products throughout the New Product Development & Introduction process.
Support execution of reliability testing protocols for new products.
Lead the design, setup, and fit-out of new laboratory spaces, aligning with project and business needs.
Lead all engagements with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) to maintain a safe, compliant, and audit-ready lab.
Manage daily lab operations, budgets, procurement, and inventory of equipment, consumables, and services.
Oversee calibration, maintenance, and record-keeping for all laboratory equipment and tools.
Develop, implement, and maintain lab standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring staff training and compliance.
Lead implementation and ongoing adherence to 5S + Safety processes.
Provide operational support to multiple projects, ensuring lab resources meet evolving requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or related field.
3+ years' experience in product engineering, laboratory management, or a related industrial environment.
Proven ability to manage lab operations, including safety, procurement, and equipment maintenance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Experience with reliability testing and data analysis.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
Desired:
Master's degree or higher in a relevant field.
Experience in biosensor development or medical device industry.
Familiarity with BSL2 laboratory standards and EHS protocols.
Proficiency in developing and implementing SOPs.
Experience leading lab fit-out or expansion projects.
