The Role:
Suretank Ltd requires a full-time maintenance/cleaner for our Dundalk, Dunleer and Castlebellingham facilities. This role will require an individual to work both sites throughout the workday to carry out cleaning and maintenance duties. The goal is to keep our buildings in a clean and orderly condition.
Responsibilities:
Daily cleaning of general areas to include (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping and waste/recycling management in offices, kitchens, bathrooms and general areas also in the manufacturing facilities).
Perform maintenance repairs (minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls changing light bulbs etc. of general areas offices, kitchens, bathrooms and general areas.
Document all cleaning routines for inspection by Health & Safety.
Correct use and storage of cleaning equipment and cleaning solutions.
Collection and correct disposable of domestic and recycled waste.
Cleaning of spillages as they occur and correct use of wet signs.
Ensure all waste and recycled materials are correctly disposed in accordance with the Company Environmental Policy
Notify Health & Safety of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
Manage and maintain stock liaising with the purchasing department to maintain supplies.
Cooperate with HQ offices on cleaning schedules when meetings are in progress, arranging alternate times.
Maintain stock for boardroom meetings, setup for refreshments and clear out of boardrooms after meetings.
Ensure safe work practices are observed and the environment is safe at all times in accordance with Company Health & Safety Policies.
Carry out any other reasonable ad hoc duties set by Management.
Requirements and Skills:
Proven working experience as a Cleaner in office and factory setting.
Proven ability in maintenance and DIY.
Ability to lift cleaning equipment.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
Familiarity with Material Data Sheets.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Full Driver Licence.
