Reperio has partnered with a company who are looking to take on an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to oversee the delivery of software projects for a leading health insurance client. This position is offered on a daily rate contract for an initial 6 months, with potential extensions, and involves working within a mature PMO across impactful technology initiatives.
You will take ownership of the full software development lifecycle, ensuring successful planning, coordination, testing, deployment, and stakeholder approval of various solutions.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee complete project lifecycles for enterprise-level software systems
* Coordinate efforts across development, QA, infrastructure, and business functions
* Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and external vendor involvement
* Maintain clear communication, reporting, and strong governance practices
* Promote Agile methodologies within the team environment
Requirements:
* 6+ years of experience in IT Project Management, preferably in large corporate settings
* Proven ability to lead and deliver complex software projects (e.g., custom builds, system integrations, or digital transformations)
* Strong interpersonal and planning skills, with a solid understanding of business priorities
* Experience juggling multiple projects and collaborating with technical teams
* Proficient with project tools such as Jira, MS Project, and Confluence
* Agile, PMP, or Prince2 certifications are a plus
