Sales Development Manager
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships with existing and new customers to drive business growth. This role involves extensive travel, managing key accounts, and identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop effective working relationships with central buyers and manage key customer accounts.
* Proactively identify new business opportunities with existing and new customers.
* Utilise CRM for collaboration, project tracking, market, and customer information.
* Communicate market findings and customer insights to management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Science or a related field.
* Minimum 3 years field sales experience B2B with a proven sales record.
* Strong working knowledge of farming, agriculture, and equine desirable but not essential.
* Fluency in English, both verbal and written, and a full clean driving licence is essential.
* Advanced negotiation and selling skills.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Strong analytical problem-solving skills required.
* Well-developed IT (MS Platforms, CRM, ERP, etc) and administration skills essential.
* Time management and task prioritisation skills.
* Customer Focused.
