Health Care Assistant Position
We are seeking dedicated professionals to fill the role of Health Care Assistant in Letterkenny, Ireland.
* The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients, monitoring their condition and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
* They will assist with personal care, including bathing, washing, shaving, oral hygiene, and continence requirements.
* General observations and updating patient records, providing support and encouragement to patients, and manual handling using hoists/slide sheets will be part of the responsibilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A minimum of QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support or equivalent qualification is required.
* Relevant experience in a healthcare setting is essential.
* Experience working with behaviors of concern would be advantageous.
* Candidates must be eligible to work in Ireland.
* Manual Handling & Patient Moving Training and Safety Intervention Training will be provided free of charge.
* Excellent communication skills and fluency in English are necessary for this position.
