Job Description
The National Treasury Management Agency has a requirement for an experienced legal secretary. The role is currently assigned to the clinical litigation unit. The main purpose of the role is to provide secretarial and administrative support to the clinical litigation unit.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing legal documents, including briefs, pleadings and correspondence
* Assisting in the preparation and printing of legal papers for court
* Preparing papers and correspondence for factual and expert witnesses
* Liaise professionally with clients, counsel, witnesses and court staff
* Perform general administrative duties to support the team
Required Skills and Qualifications
A minimum of four years' experience as a legal secretary is required. Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office suite products are essential. Proficient typing skills and attention to detail are also required.
