Senior Project Manager
to join their team

The duration of this post is
12 months
initially with likely extensions thereafter.

(must be able to attend client sites when required).
Working
35 hours per week,
the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid an hourly rate of
€44.60 per hour
based on an
annualised salary of €81,444.
You will
accrue 30 days annual leave
per year and paid Bank Holidays.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* The Senior ICT PM will be expected to manage all aspects of one or more projects, possibly including initial scoping and planning stages, in accordance with the standards, tools and methodologies of the client PMO.
* The Senior ICT PM will likely manage projects with significant budgets and strategic importance.
* The Senior ICT PM will be expected to report, in a matrix framework, to a number of stakeholder groups, through the primary channel of the client PMO.
* The Senior PM may be allocated to a portfolio of projects dependent on the stage individual projects are at plus level of work commitment required. This is to ensure efficient use and maximisation of resource expertise and availability for the duration of the contract.
* In particular they are expected to;
* Facilitate collaboration between clinical, vendor, technical and programme teams.
* Develop and manage programme management standards including agreed methodologies, templates and tools e.g. RAID Template, Reporting Templates and ensure application of these standards.
* Develop and adhere to agreed Governance structures and programme assurance standards.
Experience:
Must have
* A track record of 2+ years successfully managing the delivery of large scale project(s) within a medium – large scale organisation, preferably within the healthcare sector.
* Experience of budget planning, financial management and resource management processes.
* Proficiency in MS Project must be demonstrated.

* Displays leadership, high level of communication and interpersonal skills including liaising with multiple stakeholders
* Excellent ICT, presentation and report writing skills.
* Ability to work with the other ICT units to ensure that ICT programmes are delivered in a cohesive and planned manner.
* Demonstrate experience in working collaboratively with stakeholders and partners to ensure that the impact of projects is maximised.
* Demonstrates evidence of strategic management skills including service planning, managing own work and that of others, delegating appropriately within the resources available.
* Demonstrate ability to implement and manage change and business process re-organisation skills.
* Displays a commitment to achieving quality results including experience in evaluating the provision of services.
* Demonstrates good problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
* Self-starter with a demonstrable willingness to take on responsibility
