Job Title: Retail ManagerReports to: Head of Operations:Direct Reports: Duty Managers, Team LeadersPurpose of the RoleTo oversee and drive operational excellence, commercial performance, and customer satisfaction across multiple hospitality retail units. The Retail Manager ensures that all sites deliver consistent brand standards, profitability targets, and a high-quality guest experience, while supporting, developing, and motivating unit managers and their teams.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational LeadershipOversee daily operations across multiple hospitality or retail units, ensuring consistent delivery of brand standards, service quality, and operational efficiency.Conduct regular shop visits to review performance, compliance, and operational standards.Implement best practices across all locations to optimize workflows, service, and profitability.Ensure adherence to health & safety, food safety, and licensing regulations.Financial & Commercial ManagementTake full P&L responsibility for each unit; monitor budgets, cost control, and revenue targets.Analyse financial performance and implement strategies to maximize sales and minimize costs.Support staff in achieving sales and average transaction value.Identify commercial opportunities (menu optimization, retail product placement, upselling initiatives).People Management & DevelopmentLead, mentor, and develop staff to build strong, motivated teams.Conduct performance reviews and succession planning across all sites.Support recruitment, onboarding, and training to ensure staffing levels and capability meet business needs.Foster a positive and performance-driven culture aligned with company values.Customer ExperienceEnsure every unit delivers an exceptional guest experience aligned with brand standards.Monitor guest feedback (online reviews, mystery shopper results, direct feedback) and drive continuous improvement.Support local marketing and community engagement initiatives to enhance brand reputation.Brand & Standards ComplianceEnsure consistency in presentation, service, and product quality across all locations.Champion brand guidelines, visual merchandising, and promotional execution.Drive sustainability and waste reduction initiatives in line with company strategy.Strategic & Project SupportSupport the rollout of new concepts, refurbishments, or new unit openings.Contribute to strategic planning and growth initiatives with the senior leadership team.Provide operational insights to support product innovation and business development.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Sales growth and profitability (P&L performance across all units)Customer satisfaction (NPS, guest feedback)Operational compliance and audit resultsEmployee engagement, retention, and training completionAchievement of brand and service standardsPerson SpecificationEssentialMinimum 3–5 years' experience in multi-site management within hospitality, retail, or food & beverage.Proven track record of driving financial and operational performance across multiple locations.Strong leadership, coaching, and people development skills.Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical abilities.Sound understanding of P&L management, budget control, and commercial reporting.DesirableExperience within branded hospitality environments (e.g., cafes, QSR, restaurants, or hotel retail outlets).Knowledge of EPOS systems, inventory control, and workforce management tools.Hospitality or business-related qualification.Job Type: Full-timePay: From €12,345.00 per yearBenefits:Bike to work schemeCompany pensionEmployee assistance programEmployee discountOn-site parkingWork Location: In person
