Main Responsibilities:

* Lead the maintenance team to deliver a robust and efficient maintenance program

* Ensure preventive maintenance activities are completed on schedule and to a high standard
">
* Oversee timely execution of corrective maintenance, minimizing equipment downtime and maximizing overall equipment effectiveness
">
* Monitor, report, and act on key performance metrics, including equipment uptime, mean time to failure, and mean time to repair
">
* Address machine safety concerns promptly and effectively, supporting investigations and follow-up actions related to any safety incidents or hazards
">
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance function, using lean tools and root cause analysis to improve processes and performance
">
* Foster a culture of development through structured upskilling, technical training, and mentoring of technicians and engineers
">
* Develop individual development plans and conduct performance reviews to support growth and engagement of team members
">
* Partner with operations, engineering, quality, and other support functions to ensure maintenance requirements are integrated into business planning and execution
">
* Represent the maintenance department in cross-functional forums and site-wide initiatives
">

Required Skills and Qualifications:
">
* Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline
">
* Minimum 6 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, with ideally 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role
">
* Proven technical background in maintenance of production equipment, ideally within medical device, pharmaceutical, or high-tech manufacturing sectors
">
* Strong understanding of CMMS systems, equipment reliability metrics, and maintenance planning principles
">
* Good knowledge of regulatory requirements and current health and safety legislation
">
* Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop diverse technical teams
">
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively across all levels of the organization

* Experience using lean tools and continuous improvement methodologies

* High level of emotional intelligence with strong coaching and people management skills

* Flexible and adaptable, with effective project management and prioritization capabilities
