About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Care Worker to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with individuals who have high and complex needs, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant 3rd-level qualification in Social Care or equivalent, and a genuine interest in working alongside people to effect positive change in their lives. Excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of teamwork are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
* To deliver on the vision for the individuals we support, enabling them to gain valued social roles and participate in meaningful activities.
* To develop appropriate supports and advocate on behalf of the individual with regard to their needs and preferences.
* To support the development of Individual Plans and work collaboratively with other disciplines to achieve positive outcomes.
Requirements
* A relevant 3rd-level qualification in Social Care or equivalent (minimum level 7).
* Experience in facilitating and supporting people with high and/or complex needs.
* Excellent communication skills and a clear understanding of teamwork.
* A strong belief in people's rights, inclusion, and equality.
* Flexibility to respond to service demands from time to time.
* Working knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations.
* Good knowledge of IT skills is preferable.
