Our client is a leading building materials supplier and is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join the team in Ballybrit Co. Galway. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's Credit Control Function and Associated Administrative Duties. Key responsibilities: Contact all Customers for payment and continue to chase until paid. BACS Payment Reconciliations Liaise with Reps when accounts become overdue or hit credit limits. Weekly debtors meetings with Manager and Sales Reps to review accounts. Review and collate weekly/monthly reports. Opening of new accounts, Credit Reference Agency Reports and Trade references etc. Issuing overcharge credits. Liaising with relevant Staff to resolve all Customer disputes / queries. Completing paperwork for Small Claims. Associated Admin duties such as cash management including Brinks collections, managing high volume of emails/phone calls, scanning/ filing, stock management. Essential Criteria: Minimum 2 years Credit Control experience. Experience of using Microsoft office, including an accounts. computerized system. Excellent planning and organization skills. Experience of meeting deadlines. Self-motivated, and able to work independently. Excellent attention to detail.
