We are looking for a Business Development Manager who has ambition and passion to contribute to a high energy, high growth journey here at Smarttech247. You will play a critical role in driving growth in Smarttech247’s global business, supporting our entry into new markets, building a channel and the acquisition of new partners and customers.

At Smarttech247, a BDM works proactively with the executive leadership to craft and execute on expansion strategies in new markets: vertical and geographic. You will be the face of the company landing in new markets, be highly effective in developing and delivering market entry strategies leveraging Smarttech247’s brand and industry leading Security capabilities.

This opportunity promises growth and a collaborative environment where the successful candidate will grow and develop professionally.

Responsibilities:

* Craft and execute on channel market entry strategies to maximise Smarttech247’s impact on new target markets.
* Research to identify new markets, partners and expansion vectors.
* Establish presence in new markets, through a channel, evangelising Smarttech247’s brand, reputation and capabilities
* Promote Smarttech247 at appropriate business and technology forums
* Secure new beach head relationships
* Lead the charge to win new business in new markets.
* Build long term relationship with key sponsors and stakeholders in our partner and customer ecosystem.
* Provide feedback and insight into trends, progress and results to the Smarttech247 executive team.

Qualifications and Skills:

* Proven working experience as a business development lead in a related field.
* Track record in successfully crafting and delivering on growth plans.
* Highly articulate, strong listener and excellent networking skills.
* Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline.
