About the Team
Our client is at the forefront of developing a robust platform for trading and servicing digital assets like Bitcoin and Ethereum. With a focus on agility and creativity, their global team is reshaping the future of finance, bridging the gap between traditional investors and digital assets.
The Role
As a key member of the TechOps SRE team, you will collaborate closely with engineering teams to drive initiatives from design through to implementation. You will manage and maintain best-in-class multi-region Kubernetes environments that support mission-critical workloads. This role offers you the opportunity to influence infrastructure strategies and directly impact the expansion of the business.
What You Will Do
Lead the design and implementation of highly available, secure, and scalable microservices applications in AWS.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including risk, product, and engineering leaders.
Champion a DevOps culture, promoting automation and best practices for AWS infrastructure-as-code.
Mentor and guide Site Reliability Engineers and Cloud Engineers to foster a high-performance team.
Drive the migration of applications to Kubernetes and ensure top-tier performance and reliability.
What We're Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
Extensive hands-on experience with AWS in a production environment.
Proficiency in Docker and experience migrating applications to Kubernetes (preferably on EKS).
Experience managing Kubernetes clusters and running workloads in AWS EKS.
Familiarity with tools like Confluent or Kafka, Jenkins, and monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog).
Strong UNIX skills and shell scripting capabilities.
A knack for automation and problem-solving
Bonus Skills:
Experience with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code.
Familiarity with Python programming.
Knowledge of Git and distributed version control systems.
Agile software development experience and familiarity with CDN providers.
