Technical Director - Ecologist: *Dublin, Galway, Cork or Limerick* Technical Director - Ecologist required to join a leading, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy with offices across Ireland.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Ecologist to take the next step in their career and lead the Ecology Service Offering within a highly respected Irish-owned consultancy.
The successful candidate will play a key role as part of the Senior Management Team, contributing to the strategic growth of the company while managing and delivering a range of complex ecological and environmental projects across Ireland.

Sample projects: Major infrastructure projects (roads, flood relief and renewable energy) Biodiversityenhancement and conservation planning initiatives Public sector projects requiring complex ecological assessments Large Residential Development 597 units Value: €162 M Highrise office buildings Value: €35 M-€100 M Education Various education buildings Value: €15 M-€38 M Healthcare Various healthcare projects Value: €13 M - €150 M You will ideally have experience in the following: A degree in Ecology or a related environmental discipline.
Minimum of 15 years post-graduate experience in ecological or environmental consultancy.
The successful Ecologist will have full membership of CIEEM, CIWEM or equivalent professional body.
Strong technical knowledge of Irish wildlife and conservation legislation.
Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage project delivery.
The successful Ecologist will have experience in Appropriate Assessments (AA), Ecological Impact Assessments (Ec IAs) and Biodiversity Chapters for EIARs.
Excellent commercial acumen, client liaison and report-writing skills.
Experience preparing Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMPs).
