Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and reliable software systems in AWS and Azure platforms.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java or Python programming languages, as well as experience with source control (Git, GitHub) and feature branching strategies. Additionally, they should be familiar with CI/CD orchestration tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), networking, DNS, routing, and messaging.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and implement scalable and reliable software systems
* Work closely with development teams to understand their design challenges and propose technical solutions
* Identify opportunities to provide self-service automation of CI/CD processes and tools
* Develop automated infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and source code management
* Implement comprehensive service metrics to track and report on system reliability, performance, and efficiency
Requirements:
* 3-5 years of proven experience in DevOps or Platform or SRE Engineering
* Strong experience with deploying, managing, and monitoring services in AWS/Azure
* Hands-on experience using source control (Git, GitHub) and feature branching strategies
* Experience in developing workflow in CI/CD orchestration tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
* Understanding of networking, DNS, routing, and messaging
