Following a period of continual growth, we are excited to be recruiting a Commercial Contracts Manager who will be responsible for ensuring stronger commercial and financial governance to support continued growth, improve control across revenue-generating activities, and ensure scalability on one of eir Business's largest dedicated Managed Service customers.
The role is a key position within a large dedicated Managed Service team.
Location: Dublin Based – 2/3 days on customer site as required.
Hours of Cover: Mon – Friday.
Expectations From The Role
The role sits at the centre of commercial operations, taking responsibility for how contracts are interpreted, set up, and governed through billing and revenue processes.
The role offers the opportunity to shape contract-to-cash processes, strengthen controls, and partner closely with senior stakeholders across Operations, Finance, Sales, and Legal.
It is particularly well-suited to someone with strong contracts or commercial operations experience.
Reporting directly to the Business Director, the Commercial Contracts Manager will be responsible for:
Reviewing commercial contracts to ensure billing, pricing, and revenue terms are clear and operationally executable.
Ensuring accurate contract setup and maintenance across relevant ordering and CRM systems.
Working with Sales, Operations, and Finance teams to support compliant revenue recognition and accurate invoicing.
Strengthening contract-to-cash controls and identifying risks or revenue leakage.
Acting as a commercial point of contact for day-to-day activities for the Customer.
Driving continuous improvement across contract management and billing workflows.
Supporting integration and standardisation of contract processes from acquired businesses.
Tracking, analysis and managing obligations of the contract to ensure commercial contract compliance.
Producing reports and insights on contract status, billing cycles, and commercial obligations.
Being accountable for the quality of commercial reporting and billing to our Customer.
Requirements For A Successful Application
We are seeking a commercially minded, detail-focused professional with a strong understanding of contract structures and downstream financial impact.
Key requirements include:
4+ years' experience in commercial contracts, contract management, commercial operations or revenue-related finance roles.
Working with ICT vendors would be preferred.
Experience in a technology, services or project-based environment.
Comprehensive understanding/deep knowledge of how contract terms impact billing, revenue recognition and cash flow (e.g.: payment terms, taxation, business models, currency risk control, project planning milestones & principles, quotation principles etc).
Background in finance operations is advantageous with strong data analytical and reporting skills.
Ability and experience in understanding customers' needs and business objectives to achieve the desired solutions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to communicate with all levels of internal and external parties.
Ability to work under pressure, fast learner, high energy, self-driven and not afraid to take responsibilities.
Strong Excel and Power BI skills and experience working with CRM systems.
Highly organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple stakeholders.
Strong communication skills and confidence working cross-functionally.
