About This Role
We are seeking a dynamic professional to fill the position of Inventory Planning Specialist on a contract basis. As an Inventory Planning Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless supply chain execution for our organization.
The Supply Chain Team is responsible for coordinating the movement of goods and materials within our global network. Our team works closely with various stakeholders, including plants, bottlers, and distribution centers, to ensure that all operations run smoothly.
Your primary responsibility will be to manage contract manufacturing planning activities. You will work closely with multiple teams within our organization, executing daily planning tasks and serving as the primary point of contact for escalations.
In addition to your core responsibilities, you may be required to provide ad hoc support to the inventory team as needed.

Main Responsibilities
1. Contract Manufacturing Management:
* Execute daily planning activities associated with our Contract Manufacturing Partner Doehler.
* Analyze purchase requisitions and convert them to Purchase Orders and Stock Transfer Orders.
* Respond to exception messages, such as expedites or postponements.
2. Open Order Book Management:
* Manage open orders and close out processes at the end of each period, quarter, and year.
3. Supply Chain Coordination:
* Replicate key SAP transactions on our system.
* Ensure accurate and timely processes are in place to reflect contract manufacturing inventory in Doehler.
4. Escalation Management:
* Manage escalations from Customer Services and Inventory related to Contract Manufacturing processes.
5. Quality Control:
* Maintain accurate records of supplier shipping and order documentation.
* Coordinate resolution of documentation issues.
6. Stakeholder Engagement:
* Liaise with suppliers to determine accurate stock levels, including Safety Stock settings.
* Monitor supplier quality and delivery performance using key KPIs.
7. Process Improvement:
* Raise non-conformance reports for service issues or damaged products.
* Support the inventory team with ad-hoc duties as required.
8. Relationship Building:
* Develop strong relationships with stakeholders within our organization linked to contract manufacturing.
* Communicate weekly with suppliers via documented calls and distribute minutes to key stakeholders.
9. Travel:
* Bi-annually visit Doehler for onsite stock takes and document visits with minutes distributed to key stakeholders.
10. Problem-Solving:
* Determine the impact of quality issues on PepsiCo inventory levels with the supplier.
11. Communication:
* Communicate innovations and new set-ups to stakeholders.
12. Compliance:
* Meet all internal and external compliance responsibilities, including Purchasing Policy requirements, GCS, SOX & AIB.
* Adhere to all PepsiCo Health and Safety requirements.
