Position
Title: Junior Planner
Location: Leinster, Ireland (Collinstown office, Kildare)
Job Description
As a Junior Planner, you will play a pivotal role in our project development and implementation process. You will work closely with the Planning Manager and Project Planning Leads as well as a multidisciplinary team of engineers and industry experts to deliver cutting‑edge projects. The role requires a base at our Collinstown office, with site visits to ongoing projects in the Leinster region.
Job Responsibilities
* Update the project schedule using Primavera P6.
* Monitor subcontractor performance using EVA (Earned Value Analysis) to identify potential issues and risks.
* Create/update progress reports for senior management teams.
* Create/update short‑term look‑ahead schedules to help plan project works.
* Record evidence of delays and coordinate delay notifications to be issued to the team.
* Make modifications to the programme as required.
* Maintain the construction schedule.
* Track planned versus actual progress on a weekly basis.
* Work with the construction team to capture and log any issues affecting progress.
* Attend both internal and client‑based meetings where required.
* Monitor original versus actual budgets for scope growth/changes.
* Ensure all progress is captured in updates on system.
* Assist in production/coordination of weekly construction reports.
Skills and Requirements
* Degree qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
* 1+ years’ post‑qualification experience in an M&E contracting environment.
* Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and external partners.
* Excellent organisational and planning skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office systems required; Primavera P6 desirable.
* Demonstrated appetite for continuous learning and personal development.
