Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
It would be advantageous to have an interest in art and the ability to apply yourself to a range of administrative and manual tasks. A candidate will be expected to have a good command of the English language, good personal presentation and a friendly convivial disposition. On-the-job training is provided for all duties listed below. Duties will include:
* Engaging with the public at the front desk
* Interacting with customers to affect sales of the Gallery’s art and craft stock
* Assisting with exhibition installation and gallery maintenance
* Handling, storage and preparation for transport of artwork and assisting in the maintenance of stock records
* Assisting with social media and the gallery website
* Assisting the Gallery Director in the general administration of the Gallery and other tasks and duties as necessary
