sought to join the expanding team in Cork of a prominent Main Building Contractor. Our client boasts a stellar industry reputation and remarkable growth over recent years, embracing a diverse range of project types. The accomplished Senior QS will be in direct communication with a Commercial Director and will oversee a team of junior quantity surveyors. Ideal candidates should possess a minimum of 7 years' experience in the field of quantity surveying.
Requirements:
* Degree in Quantity Surveying
* Preferred qualification: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying
* Minimum of 7 years of professional experience with a proven track record in managing interactions with Subcontractors and Clients concerning Valuations, Variations, Final Accounts, and cost reporting
* Demonstrates a deep understanding of specifications, bills of quantities, and technical drawings
* Exhibits a strong capacity to extract quantities from drawings and send out inquiries to sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate quotations
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and other Quantity Surveying software packages
* Proven expertise in Commercial and Industrial Project Management
* Demonstrates excellent fiscal responsibility
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver and clarify accurate reports
* Outstanding organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities simultaneously
* Self-motivated, capable of structuring the workday around assigned tasks and priorities with minimal supervision; demonstrates flexibility and a strong commitment to success
* Able to collaborate effectively within a diverse team, showcasing strong interpersonal skills
Salary:
* Competitive salary ranging from €90,000 to €100,000 annually
