Complementary Therapy Leadership Role
This leadership position is pivotal in managing the provision of complementary therapies to children and their carers in a Haematology/Oncology setting. As Clinical Nurse Manager 2, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of these services.
The role requires close collaboration with Haematology/Oncology staff, including the Palliative care team, to identify needs for complementary therapy development and coordinate the introduction of new therapies.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Communicate and work closely with all Haematology/Oncology staff.
* Identify needs for complementary therapy development.
* Coordinate introduction of new therapies.
* Address quality, training, audit, research, and delivery of complementary therapies.
* Essential Criteria:
* Registered on Children's Division and/or General Division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives.
* At least 5 years post-registration experience with 2 years in an acute hospital setting.
* Qualification in a complementary therapy (massage/reflexology/aromatherapy).
* Experience in complementary therapies involving children.
* Clinical, managerial, and administrative capacity to discharge role functions.
