The 4*Bridge House Hotel Tullamore is one of Ireland's most popular landmark hotels and is centrally located in the thriving midlands town of Tullamore at the heart of Ireland's Ancient East.
The Bridge House Hotel has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Night Porter to join their existing team.
Responsibilities:
* To work closely with Reception and carry out any request that they may have in relation to customer needs.
* If you are monitoring the main door at night, ensure all Guests show their room card prior to gaining entry into the late bar.
* To serve the late bar for residents.
* Complete cashing up procedure as per training provided.
* Check in any late arriving guests
* Take walk in room reservations where possible, take full payment and credit card details.
* To clean and ensure the lobby and surround areas where Guest are, are left clean and tidy
* To answer the calls on Reception where possible, if away from the desk always divert calls to mobile.
* To carry out fire walks during your shift and sign logs.
* Ensure that wake up calls are made promptly.
* Completion of the night audit
