Morgan McKinley is proud to be supporting a key client in the pharmaceutical sector in their search for experienced Manufacturing Technicians. This role supports New Product Introduction (NPI) and clinical manufacturing activities for both small and large molecule drug products.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the tech transfer process within a highly regulated, innovation-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manufacture pharmaceutical products across all lifecycle stages — clinical, non-clinical, and pre-clinical
* Carry out batch preparation activities, including vial washing, sterilization, and area setup
* Perform aseptic processing (compounding, sterile filtration, and sterile filling)
* Prepare components and equipment for use in Grade A cleanroom environments
* Work with vendors to implement and improve systems, including single-use technologies
* Operate in a multi-product suite with efficient changeover between product campaigns
* Conduct environmental monitoring and maintain compliance with GMP and SOPs
* Review and contribute to technical documentation, protocols, and reports
* Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, R&D, Supply Chain, and Validation teams
* Adhere to EHS standards and procedures
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* 3rd level qualification in a relevant discipline or 12–18 months’ experience in pharma or medical devices
* Experience working in cleanroom environments is essential
* Knowledge of aseptic techniques, GMP, and drug product manufacturing desirable
* Familiarity with sterilization processes, lyophilization, and filter integrity testing is a plus
* Exposure to single-use systems is advantageous
* Strong communication, organisation, and technical writing skills
* Proven team player with proactive, problem-solving mindset
