Role Overview The IT Systems Support Specialist will support the installation, validation, and maintenance of a wide range of computerized instrument systems in both laboratory and manufacturing environments.
This role ensures compliance with cybersecurity, data integrity, lifecycle management, and applicable quality standards.
Educational Qualifications / Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Equivalent industry experience in lieu of degree will be considered
Experience in pharmaceutical or other regulated industries preferred
Key Skills & Preferences Knowledge of GxP, data integrity, and computer system validation (CSV) Strong interpersonal skills, effective decision-making abilities, and ability to handle repetitive tasks under time pressure Experience with Active Directory, identity and access management, and SOP development Key Responsibilities Gain in-depth knowledge of IT functionality for analytical equipment to support installation, upgrade, validation, and maintenance Draft and update IT-related SOPs and procedures Execute computer system validation deliverables for both new and existing projects
Train and support users on proper use of computerized analytical equipment Administer user accounts in Active Directory (AD) and other identity management systems
Maintain proper access controls using role-based security models Manage AD environments, including user/group management, OUs, and Group Policies Serve as a liaison between corporate IT teams and local business units Keep systems and applications up-to-date with current supported versions Actively participate in team meetings and audit activities
