Key Responsibilities
1. Infrastructure Resilience & Disaster Recovery
2. Lead the design, maintenance, and testing of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans.
3. Ensure alignment with
DORA
and other regulatory resilience frameworks.
4. Backup, Storage & Platform Management
5. Oversee enterprise backup solutions (e.g., Veeam, Commvault), storage platforms, and ensure data integrity, security, and recoverability.
6. Manage Microsoft 365 environments including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, and associated compliance features.
7. Network Operations Management
8. Ensure high availability, security, and performance of LAN/WAN, VPN, firewall, and related network infrastructure.
9. Drive continuous improvement across connectivity and network resilience.
10. Third-Party & MSP Governance
11. Oversee and manage vendor and MSP relationships, including performance monitoring, contract/SLA management, service reviews, and escalations.
12. Ensure third-party services meet regulatory, security, and operational standards.
Key Requirements
1. Proven Infrastructure Leadership in Regulated Environments
2. 5+ years' experience managing IT infrastructure in
financial services
or other regulated sectors.
3. Strong understanding of operational risk, IT governance, and resilience standards.
4. DORA, Compliance & Documentation Expertise
5. Deep knowledge of
DORA
, IT risk controls, and business continuity requirements.
6. Ability to maintain clear, comprehensive system and compliance documentation.
7. Strong Technical Background
8. Hands-on experience with enterprise backup platforms, storage systems, Microsoft 365, and networking technologies.
9. Understanding of security, identity, and cloud/hybrid environments.
10. Certifications & Professional Skills
11. Certifications such as
ITIL
,
Microsoft Azure/M365
,
Cisco
, or
ISO 27001
are highly advantageous.
12. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, working closely with cybersecurity, compliance, risk, and service delivery teams.
