Care Network Ireland are currently recruiting a Community Person in Charge or Clinical lead to lead and manage a designated residential or community-based service in line with the Health Act ****, HIQA regulations, and best practice standards, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care and regulatory compliance in the Carlow area.
Key Responsibilities:
Fulfil statutory role of Person in Charge (PIC) under HIQA regulations.
Ensure full compliance with HIQA standards, Health Act ****, Children First, and other relevant legislation.
Manage day-to-day operations, including care delivery, staffing, risk, and safeguarding.
Lead and supervise staff, ensuring training, support, and performance management.
Effective communication and problem-solving.
Commitment to quality, safety, and person-centred practice.
Strong leadership and team management.
Promote residents' rights, dignity, independence, and active community participation.
Prepare for and respond to inspections and audits.
Liaise with external professionals and stakeholders.
Requirements:
Level 6 or higher in Social Care.
Minimum 2 years' management experience in health or social care.
Strong working knowledge of HIQA, safeguarding, and regulatory standards.
Full clean driving licence.
Registration with CORU.
