We areseekingto recruit an experiencedEducationCoordinator.Working closely with the Education Operations Manager and team this role willberesponsible for the day-to-dayadministrationof coursesandprovidea professional and proactive serviceto students, lecturers, and keyeducationstakeholders.The successful candidate will have strong background ineducationand administration.
About the role This is a permanent full-time position.
TheEducationCoordinator will: Proactivelyrespondtoenquiries from prospective studentsvia phone,email and atrelevant in-person education eventsasrequired.
Processall stages ofstudentregistrationsaccuratelyandin line with approved policies,providingup to datecommunicationwithstudentsregardingapplicationsand ensuring relevant materials/access to platforms is providedtostudentsin a timely manner.
Maintain regularand professionalcommunication with current students, answering queriespromptly,andassistingwithstudentappeals processin line withapprovedregulations.
Proactively manage the academic calendar of assigned courses includingscheduling oflectures, liaising with lecturersand facilitators,monitoringlecture delivery,gatheringand collatingdata andfeedbackregularly.
Preparestudent attendancereportsaccuratelyfor supporting employer firms.
Update andmaintaina range ofcourse materials including timetables,the Instituteslearningmanagementsystem(Blackboard)andrelevant areas of websitewith keen attention to detail.
Work with a team of authorsand editorsto ensure update of student manuals,coordinateversioncontrol,and deliveraccording toschedule.
Develop and nurture key relationships with lecturers, externalsuppliersand stakeholders.
Preparecontracts for all contributors (lecturers and authors)andpreparethe payments scheduleon a monthly basisfor contributors.
Support the assessment team with key aspects of online delivery of exams including registration/administration of assessments and delivery of results.
Keep up to date with relevant IT and education platform developments, attend regular meetings with the team to coordinate and plan course administration and contribute to streamlining administrative processes.
Assistwith such other related responsibilities asdeterminedby the Education Operations Manager, includingtaking full responsibility for certain aspects ofcourse delivery.
Qualities and experiencerequired A relevant third level qualification.
2-3 years relevantexperience in a relatedrole, ideally in aneducation setting.
Excellentinterpersonal andcommunication skills, including written and spoken English.
Excellent time management and the ability to self-sufficiently plan and prioritise tasks and meet multiple deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
Proven ability to work well in a team andto develop positive working relationships internally and externallywith key stakeholders and contributors.
Strong IT skills with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the MS Office suite, to support data management and reporting.
Knowledge of CRM systems Microsoft Dynamics or similar would be an advantage.
