The business also has a retail division onsite retailing trucks, parts and workshop repairs with a CVRT test centre onsite also. The Role We are recruiting an experienced and dynamicFinancial Controllerto lead the finance team in managing financial reporting, compliance and continuous improvement while working closely with top management to report on KPIs, cash-flows, budgeting and profitability Key Responsibilities Lead the finance function and work with the Management Accountant to produce monthly management accounts, annual financial statements, annual audit and statutory compliance. Manage cash-flows, oversee payroll, tax filings and regulatory submissions. Produce KPI reports to provide analysis and performance insights on key areas of the business for management and the board. Drive efficiency and continuous improvements within the finance function through technology and process enhancements. Liaise with the dealer network and interpret their financial KPIs for management Key Competencies Strong financial expertise with deep understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and statutory compliance. High attention to detail, integrity, and ethical standards. Problem-solving mindset, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement and technology-driven Commercially aware with strong business insight and focus on profitability and cost management. Advanced analytical skills, including Excel and financial systems proficiency, with ability to interpret data and identify trends. Excellent leadership and team management skills, good communicator with ability to mentor and support staff across the business.
