Senior Mechanical Engineer (5085301) Louth, Republic of Ireland
Salary: EUR50 - EUR50 per annum
The client is seeking applications for a Senior Mechanical Engineer based in Co. Louth.
Key Responsibilities
Work within a multi-disciplinary maintenance team responsible for a plant process area
Ensure preventative and predictive maintenance is completed
Plan major shutdowns and overhauls
Manage contractors on projects
Troubleshoot maintenance issues and improve plant availability
Support continuous improvement of safety and environmental standards
Scope, deliver, install, commission, and hand over plant improvement projects
Requirements
Mechanical Engineering qualification or similar
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
Knowledge of health and safety in heavy industry
Strong technical, communication, and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
Proven record of adding value to previous employers.
